Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer - Excellent Condition

Includes Original Box, Manuals and Philip Rees MDS Unitmmmmmmmm History of equipment: I have owned this 808 from new (approx 25 years). It was purchased from JSG Music Shop, Bingley, West Yorkshire and was one of the last three to be sold. (serial no. 311014). It has been sat in my smoke free home studio ever since and has not been gigged. I used it regularly for song writing for about 10 years and has since either been stored away or more recently sat in the corner of my studio with occasional use. I have now decided to sell as it gets little use and needs a better home. I am also upgrading my home studio so things have to go (see other items below). Minor issues: As this is a genuine UK machine that is in near perfect condition I would like to draw to your attention these minor faults which would otherwise make this machine perfect for me. 1. The Step Switches - stick slightly. This is a common problem with the 808 and easily fixed. These do all work and free up more with use. My advise would be to either get them renewed or cleaned. For this reason I would say it would benefit a service/clean. But if like me it is only going to get light use it will not be much of an issue. 2. There is one light scuff mark on the left hand end plastic panel. (shown in one of the images). 3. There are a couple of marks on the underside. 4. Operates Card showing it age. All other aspect of the 808 are fine. Every switch, button and LED operates and is intact.
